Chameleons-Glasgow King Tuts 25 Mar 01

A person isn't safe-anywhere these days
Pleasure and pain
Up the down escalator
Indian
Anyone alive
Soul in isolation
Truth isn't truth
Caution
On the beach
Dangerous land
Second skin
Miracles and wonders
Shades
Swamp thing
Monkeyland
Perfume garden

  1. Garage rock at its best, with surfy guitars and played by good-looking blokes. Really, you can't go wrong.

  2. Thanks for this. The Chameleons in my home town of Glasgow.

The venue was actaully King Tuts Wah Wah Hut not the Garage. Date is correct Sunday 25/3/2001. The only time Mark B has played The Garage in Glasgow was when Bird opened for New Model Army
    a few years back.

The reunited Chameleons had previously played King Tuts a few months earlier on Sunday 15th October 2000. Probably that night was the busiest King Tuts has been.

The best gig I ever saw was Mark on his Sons of God Tour playing Glasgow King Tuts on Tuesday Night 7 Dec 1993. I think this was the night before the Manchester gig that was recorded and released on Pivot Records. Don't suppose you have this gig. He opened with Swamp Thing and it's still the best version I have ever heard.

    Please keep 'em coming...............

  5. I think you are right in some ways. But its not happening in the real life. I like your way of thinking. I like to live a life on my own basis.
